Generosity

Generosity

As strangers become neighbors and our hospitality grows, so too will our understanding of the needs of our neighbors. This will require us to grow in our generosity; giving, gathering, and generating the resources necessary to meet the need. This will mean repurposing portions of our property and building for hospitality, donating our time, collecting goods in addition to our food drives, and giving financially to sustain the ministry of neighbor-hood at All Saints.

Abraham gave the best calf, the finest flour, and his own seat at the table, standing by while his guests refreshed themselves. The essential questions we must ask ourselves are: What will we give to welcome God in the person of our neighbor? What can we give to become what our neighbors need?
